THE COMMERCIAL INN

Can be made from any base distillate really. Grain, Grape, Potatoes and more. Neutral Vodkas are not flavoured prior, during or after distillation, but the base will give different flavour profiles.
Nose: Soft on the nose, with subtle complexity of woody herbs (Bay? Sweet Savoury?). Undertones of spearmint and cocoa butter. Palate: Classic Assay mouth-coating texture. Sweet, but not sickly. Really smooth, soft and easy drinking for 45% ABV. Herbs, mint and cocoa butter carry on from the nose. Moreish. Finish: Warming pepper notes linger with sweet herbs and balanced bitterness.

Don't be fooled by the name – Dutch Barn Orchard Vodka hails from North Yorkshire! It takes its name from the Dutch barn found on the farm where the distillery is based. Not only is it distilled from British apples (blended with a small proportion of potato spirit), but the distillery is even carbon neutral, which is awesome. The bottle is brown, not just because it's made from 68% recycled glass, but because it also helps protect the precious vodka inside. Tasting Notes; Nose: Red apple aroma, clean peppery finish with hints of cubeb berry, earthiness. Palate: Warm cream develops into a crisp subtle caramel sweetness. Finish: Clean rounded fruit, peppery finishing leaving the pleasant taste of ripe pear

Nose: Citrus initially albeit shortlived as the sweet Rhubarb takes over. Light vanilla acts as a rich support medium and allows the cocoa butter that comes from the plain vodka to make an appearance. Rhubarb sour tang sits in the background. Palate: Syrupy texture and citrus noticeable first, then the light peppery heat from the alcohol. The pepper heat then leads in to sweet and sour Rhubarb and soothing vanilla. Finish: Sweet and Sour Rhubarb tails off leaving rich Vanilla.

Nose: Bright, natural strawberry wafts up from the glass like strawberry cordial. Black pepper spice sits underneath the main strawberry aroma. Palate: Really thick and syrupy on the palate. Strawberry flavour from the nose intensifies in the mouth. Black pepper spice backs up the Strawberry and is wrapped up in smooth alcohol. Finish: Long and sweet, but not overly sweet as the Black Pepper and alcohol balances out the Strawberry. Black Pepper lingers for a long time, gradually fading away.
