Touch of pepper wraps it all together. Palate: Signature syrupy texture coats the tongue. Freshly cut grass and wild flowers take strong supporting role to the citrus and juniper. This London dry gin is made with organic regenerative wheat from their pals at Wildfarmed, who use farming methods that allow the land to suck up CO2 and restore it to a natural carbon sink, and the Sapling team also plant a tree for each bottle sold. It's also simply a fab gin in its own right, with plenty of earthy, zesty notes to be had. Tasting Notes; Nose: Citrus peels, angelica, some coriander spiciness building before hints of savoury rosemary develop. Palate: Extremely refined and very well balanced. Aber Falls Orange Marmalade Gin is characterized by a harmonious blend of sweet and bitter orange flavours with a subtle, piney juniper note, creating a citrus-forward gin with a warming aftertaste. Produced on a remote island off the west coast of Scotland, this expression features a selection of 17 botanicals, including Carrageen seaweed picked from the shores of Barra. Delicately savoury, with softly sweet and spicy balance imparted by the other supporting botanicals, this expression is immensely impressive. Tasting Notes; Nose: Floral and herbal balance, with notes of juniper, citrus, and carrageen seaweed. Palate: Refreshing and clean, with juniper, citrus, and carrageen seaweed. Finish: Long, warm spice finish.

Isle of Harris Gin is made on the eponymous Outer Hebrides island, using a selection of nine botanicals, including sustainably harvested sugar kelp from local sea-lochs. This imparts a subtly coastal, maritime quality to the gin, which also features juniper, angelica, cassia, coriander, cubeb, liquorice root, orange peel, and orris root. The bottle is also a sight to behold, evoking the ripples of the sea. Tasting Notes; Nose: A well-defined juniper note with pine needles, immediately followed by the fresh citrus notes of bitter orange, lime and grapefruit. Develops a complex floral note of rose and wallflowers with crushed green herbs, coriander and gooseberry all underpinned by mixed spice. Sugar Kelp adds to the complexity and richness and gives a dry maritime note. Palate: Refreshing, with good balance between the bitter juniper and pine and the sweet fruit flavours of mango, grapefruit and orange. A green herb flavour of crushed coriander develops.
